Privacy Statement
1. Competition Entries - Non Members The collection of entrant
information for the purpose of entering Competitions appearing
on Prizepool is securely held by Prizepool under the Conditions
of Entry specified for each separate Competition. On each
Competition close date this data is provided to the Promoter
for the purposes of conducting the prize draw plus any other
use specified by the promoter as part of the official Conditions
Of Entry. Prizepool then deletes all entrant information
from its system and does not hold any Non-Member personal
information in whole or in part following the expiry of
any Competition.
2. Prizepool Membership Membership of Prizepool is open
only to residents of Australia and New Zealand.
3. Competition Entries - Members of Prizepool are recommended
to login with their user name and password each time they
enter the Prizepool website. This gives Prizepool Members
the following benefits: * Express Competition Entry. Member's
details are automatically included into each Competition
Entry Form without having to retype. * Automatically generates
an extra entry in the Prizepool Members Only prize draw
for each Brand Competition entered. Prizepool Members information
recorded on joining Prizepool is fully protected and only
used as specified - to facilitate the express entry to Competitions
and to send Prizepool Members information on Competitions
and Products in the 'opt in' market categories specified
by each Prizepool Member. In addition to Prizepool Members'
subscription information the only other personal information
held by Prizepool is the frequency Prizepool Members receive
opt-in subscription information. Prizepool does not collect
any personal information on users interaction with the Prizepool
website and does not use or load 'cookies' into any user's
browser.
4. Prizepool Members Subscription Information Can be accessed
at any time when you login as a Prizepool Member. Information
can be changed or deleted at the sole discretion of each
Member.
5. Any information submitted using the 'Tell a friend about
Prizepool' facility on the Prizepool website will be used
only for the purpose of completing such request. Each friend
you notify will receive an email tagged to you for the purpose
of crediting you with an extra entry into the Members Only
Prize Draw for each friend who registers with Prizepool.
We do not retain or use the information on this facility
for any other purpose.
6. Terms & Conditions of Competitions on Prizepool Terms
& Conditions of each Competition on Prizepool are specified
for that Competition and include State Lottery Permits where
applicable as a responsibility of the Promoter. A condition
of the Members Only Prize Draw is you must register as a
Prizepool Member.
7. Storage and Security of Personal Information Prizepool
takes all reasonable steps to ensure your personal information
is kept secure. Your information is stored on secure servers
within highly secure 24 x 7 controlled and monitored facilities.
Staff and contractors are trained in the correct procedures
of handling any personal information they have access to
in carrying out all administrative functions within the
job descriptions specified in their employment contracts.
As part of such contracts all staff and contractors are
obliged to respect and keep the confidentiality of any personal
information held by Prizepool. You also have an important
role in keeping your personal information secure. In common
with other Internet-based systems involving personal information;
it is important you do not disclose your user name and password
to others. Prizepool will not be held responsible for events
arising from unauthorised access to Prizpool Members' or
Non-Members' personal information.
